Today we has the privilege of attending Eunice’ third birthday party at her home, which is nearby to ours. Zach had been looking forward to this all week as we reminded him each day of the special event that was happening on Saturday for “Eweniece”.
Whether it was the excitement of seeing all his friends or not, Zach was a bit of a naughty boy and committed multiple crimes against humanity in the form of pushing, refusal of food, and dribbling of apple juice.
That being said, we still all had a great time. There were lots of people there and lots of children near or at the age of Eunice, including Jeffrey, Patrick, Oliver, Zachy, Ethan and Alea. Paul and Aeri prepared so much food, and it was all very delicious and tastefully laid out on the table. In fact, it looked so good that Zach was almost tempted to take some.
When we arrived we put Patrick on the couch beside baby Jeffrey and it was really cute to see the two of them “play” together in their own little way:
Special birthday hats had been created and we managed to put one on Zach’s head without to much complaint.
Eunice showed a lot of joy and excitement over each gift she got – even the (birthday) cards were greeted with shouts of happiness! It was neat to see someone so young show so much appreciation.
Before leaving, we got a picture of all the kids together on the couch. Unfortunately, Patrick was already bundled into his car seat (and crying) so he didn’t get included.
A fun day for all involved, and for a certain little boy, it tired him right out!
