Allegra comes for a visit

This past Thursday we had a bunch of people over at our place as Jonathan and Andrea Patterson were in town with their little girl, Allegra. We all had a wonderful time and a nice visit with them.

Zach was quite taken by Allegra and wanted to keep holding her, touching her hair and even going as far as kissing her on a number of occasions, much to Jonathan’s dismay! ;)

Allegra was a very good eater of vegetables as well, and so we are hoping this had a positive effect on Zach, but we’re not holding our breath…

As I mentioned, there were a number of people over so we ended up having a BBQ on our back deck since the weather was absolutely beautiful.

While the adults ate and talked, Zach and Oliver played together in his sandbox. It was nice to see Zach playing nicely and  not being to much of a ‘bossy-boss’. Perhaps he was trying to impress Allegra, but who can say. The two boys, when they were finished playing, were absolutely filthy.

Lunch at Paul and Aeri’s

Yesterday, along with Ken, Janet, mom and family, we were invited over for lunch to Paul and Aeri’s house. It was an excellent meal, to say the very least and it was nice to have a good visit with everyone.

The kids were pretty cute – Eunice talked excitedly non-stop in both English and Korean, while Zach did not have much to say but instead busied himself playing with all of Eunice’s toys.

While Zach acquainted himself with all the new toys, Eunice wanted to show us all the tricks she could do, which involved some sort of somersault/head-stand combination. We were all very impressed! :)

Meanwhile, what could a small boy like Patrick do? Well, it turns out he was unsure whether to show off his hand tricks or to show off his blanket, so he decided to do a combination of the two.
