Julia managed to get a few photos that show the three boys reading books. What you don’t see is when Zachy nearly clobbered poor Patrick in the head with one of his books!
Reading with Zach is a bit funny because he has to have his own space – doesn’t really want anyone to close. If one of your arm’s or leg’s happens to venture into his airspace, then he gets very impatient and frustrated as he attempts to push it back out.
On Friday Julia was able to capture Zach making somewhat of an effort to climb up the stairs to our second floor. He just about made it, but as you’ll see is still having some difficulty with that first stair.
However, it is still pretty neat watching him progress. It seems like just yesterday that he learned how to crawl (in his own little funny way) – now he’ll be walking in no time at all … or perhaps he’ll wait a few months! ;)
In other news, Zach continues to love playing with and ‘reading’ his books. Now, he has a new trick that someone must have taught him, although I have no clue who – perhaps his mother? :)
