Mike and I have an addition to our family – a new little piggy called Wilbur! He was born Christmas Eve and we bought him from a breeder – we’re hoping this will contribute to a longer lifespan than our other much-loved piggy! He has some of the same piggy mannerisms as Whiskers, but is, of course, still a little nervous around us. He seems pretty good-natured so far though and we’re really enjoying him. He’s noisy at night and in the morning, which I can hear, when Mike is fast asleep. I”m not sure if this bodes well for May, when I’m hoping that I’ll be able to sleep and Mike will wake up for the baby’s noises!

On a different note, Mike has to start going in to work now – it is day 41 of the bus strike – so we’ll both travel together in the morning. I’ll leave for work earlier, but he’ll leave from his work earlier. It will make the drive more bearable for me anyways. I was getting quite bored with the hours of traffic on my own!
